Privacy Policy

Account details: name, email, phone if you give one, and login records from our identity provider.

Work you submit: the outcome you describe, files you upload, messages in a session, and the result you approve.

Connected accounts: if you connect Google or Microsoft, we store the access needed to carry out that task. We do not ask specialists to hold those credentials.

Payments: credit balance, holds, captures, and the limited billing details our payment partner needs. We do not store full card numbers on Villow servers.

Product data: pages you open, approximate device and browser data, and diagnostic logs used to keep the service reliable.

To create your account, route work to a specialist, show you a staged result, and take payment only for what you authorized.

To secure the service, prevent abuse, debug failures, and understand which parts of the product are used.

To send service messages, such as sign-in codes, task updates, and receipts. We do not sell personal information.

A specialist sees the task content required to do the job, and only through Villow. They do not receive your password or raw connected-account token. See Data handling for how that boundary works.

We use service providers for identity, hosting, payments, email, error monitoring, and product analytics. They process data on our instructions for those purposes.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect users, Villow, or the public from harm.

Account and session history stay while your account is open, so you can return to past work and receipts.

Payment and tax records are kept for the period required by law. Security logs are kept for a shorter operational period, then deleted or reduced.

You can ask us to delete your account. We will delete or anonymize personal information we no longer need, except records we must retain.

You can disconnect a Google or Microsoft account, decline a staged action, and withhold files you do not want a specialist to see.

You can ask for a copy of your personal information, a correction, or deletion, and you can withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Email the address at the bottom of this page. We may need to confirm it is you before we act.

If you are in India, you may also raise a grievance with us first. If it is not resolved, you may approach the Data Protection Board as provided under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

We use cookies and similar storage for sign-in, security, and remembering basic preferences. Product analytics may use a first-party cookie to understand usage.

Blocking cookies in your browser can sign you out or break parts of the product that depend on a session.

Villow is not for children. Do not create an account or submit a child’s personal information.

Our providers may process data outside India, including in the United States. Where that happens, we use providers that are contracted to protect the data for the purposes in this policy.

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date on this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the product or by email.
